Openwave Corporation aimed to maximize the potential of software test automation and offshore test outsourcing for its product platform.

Consequently, they sought a solution that would offer:

The Solution

LogiGear provided the TestArchitect toolset for integrated test design, automation, and management. This action-based testing tool offers a robust method for developing a test automation framework that can be easily expanded and maintained with each new release.

All tests were developed and executed at the LogiGear Center in Vietnam, resulting in enhanced expertise and cost savings compared to Openwave’s previous vendor.

The Result

• With TestArchitect, LogiGear has decreased test creation time by 67% compared to the previous ‘traditional’ test automation approach, while also doubling the testing coverage.
• The execution time for the expanded automated test suite was completed in just 7 hours, a significant improvement from the 36 hours required for the previous scripts.
