The Challenge

• The old CMS was difficult to use, and the client wanted to switch to a new CMS that is user-friendly and content management-friendly. However, the existing traffic levels must be maintained
• The existing web interface was notably unfriendly to users, bad design made it a formidable obstacle to achieve a favorable ranking on Google search results
• There were notable difficulties concerning the effective management of booking systems, user profiles, and the maintenance of a comprehensive booking history

The Solution

• Built a new automation script to transfer all content from the old website to the new website
• Provided a robust redirect mechanism to support re-direct pages to make sure SEO hasn’t been lost when we shutdown the old site
• Provided diligent testing/QA effort to go through each of single page to ensure the quality of the project

The Result

• Successfully transferred content from WordPress the old CMS to Contentful CMS while still ensuring a user-friendly and content management-friendly platform and maintaining existing traffic levels.
• A redesigned sitemap and enhanced UX/UI design were implemented, significantly improving the user-friendliness of the web interface and positively impacting Google search ranking.
• My Account system helps users to efficiently manage their bookings, profiles, and access comprehensive booking history.
